Ethoxylation/Propoxylation
Plant for the production of a wide range of non-ionic surfactants based on the
condensation of EO/PO with organic substrates.Desmet has developed for
many years a safe, cost effective, flexible know-how for the design and supply
of ethoxylation plants for the production of a large number of non-ionic
surfactants, using all main raw materials such as:

Desmet know-how covers the design and operation of the ethoxylation
plant from the ethylene (propylene) oxide handling, up to the final products
flaking and finishing.
Desmet makes also available an extensive know how on products
formulation, application and marketing.
Desmet ethoxylation technology has been applied in several plants
installed worldwide some of which are successfully in operation for more than 15
years.
Ethoxylation capacity of the plants supplied by Desmet ranges from
pilot plant size up to 100,000 Tons per year with up to 12 reactors operating in
parallel and making different products.
The ethoxylated products can contain in the molecule a number of moles of
ethylene oxide ranging from one to hundreds and they are used for a wide range
of application such as:
